When birth control doesn’t go as planned, having a backup option on hand can help you take the next step. My Morning After Choice three-pack includes three individually packaged tablets, each containing levonorgestrel 1.5 mg. For each use, take one tablet as soon as possible within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex or birth control failure. The sooner you take it, the better it works—you don’t need to wait until the next morning. For emergency use, not regular birth control. It does not protect against HIV/AIDS or other sexually transmitted infections. Read the complete package directions and warnings before use.

Does it contain the same active ingredient as Plan B One-Step®?
Yes. My Morning After Choice contains levonorgestrel 1.5 mg, the same active ingredient and strength as Plan B One-Step®.
Is it the same as an abortion pill?
No. Levonorgestrel emergency contraception helps prevent pregnancy before it starts by delaying or preventing ovulation. It does not end an existing pregnancy and will not work if you are already pregnant.

It is intended as a backup for emergencies, not as your regular birth control method.
What side effects might I notice?
Possible side effects include changes in your period, nausea, lower abdominal pain, tiredness, headache, dizziness, breast tenderness, or vomiting. Get immediate medical attention if you have severe abdominal pain.
What if my period is late after taking it?
Your next period may come earlier or later than expected. If it is more than one week late, take a pregnancy test and follow up with a healthcare professional.
